As a radio & TV news reporter and anchor in Asia, Lauren Ellis Galey discovered her broadcast voice and honed her writing and production skills while covering international and local news stories in Taipei, Taiwan and the Pacific island of Guam, USA in the 1990s.
With a strong desire to use the power of broadcast media to postively influence people's lives, Lauren left the newsroom and created her own cause-related production company, ProVision Productions. As Producer, Writer and Director, she developed over 70 video projects including documentary-style PSAs, and several feature-length documentaries on Micronesian cultures & traditions.
